Horticulture, Inc.
Curtis Horticulture employs a small staff of enthusiastic,
dedicated professionals who have a common interest in horticulture and
providing quality landscape services.
Stephanie Curtis - Principal / Landscape
Architect
Stephanie's early passion for gardening and the environment led to her formal
study of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. She enjoys working outdoors and
promoting
landscape practices that are based on ecological principles. Stephanie
has a BS in Environmental Horticulture from UC Davis and has completed the Landscape Architecture program at UC Berkeley Extension.
She is a licensed Landscape Architect and an ISA Certified Arborist.
DESIGN / BUILD TEAM
Glenn - Project Manager / Designer
Glenn comes to Curtis Horticulture with several years of project management and design experience in the landscape design/build industry. Glenn is a Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor and a Certified Green Building
Professional. He attends the UC Berkeley Extension Landscape Architecture program in his spare time.
Samantha - Landscape Designer / Draftsperson

Bryant - Crew Leader / Landscape Installation Technician
Bryant has been with the company several years and has well-rounded experience in many aspects of landscaping from garden
maintenance to all phases of landscape installation. He has attended
classes at Foothill College in Environmental Horticulture and is a Certified Landscape Technician.
Aaron - Crew Leader / Landscape Installation Technician
Aaron has experience with both large and small landscaping tasks, from grading and excavation to the refined details of planting and irrigation. He is a Certified Bobcat operator.
Ian - Landscape Installation / Irrigation Technician
Ian has many years of experience with the installation and
troubleshooting of irrigation systems, particularly with large residential
estates and golf courses. He has attended numerous irrigation seminars put on
by the Irrigation Association and irrigation manufacturers.
Anastacio - Mason / Landscape Worker
Anastacio brings over 10 years of masonry experience to our team. He is well-versed in the use of natural stone, manufactured products, and poured concrete. Anastacio is studying to becoming a Certified Landscape Technician.
Luis and Isidro - Landscape Workers
MAINTENANCE TEAM
Valerie - Horticulturist / Maintenance Account Manager
Valerie has a BS in Environmental Horticulture from Cal
Poly, San Luis Obispo, with minors in Land Rehabilitation and Plant Protection
Science. She also has work experience with plant disease and pest monitoring and control. She is in the process of becoming a Certified Water Manager and actively manages the irrigation at several properties.
Val - Lead Gardener / Horticulturist
Val has an AS in Environmental Horticulture from Foothill College, and has been working as a professional skilled gardener for the last
3 years. Additionally, she has a BS in Zoology from UC Santa Barbara, which enables her to identify the many critters we encounter in our work.
Joslyn - Lead Gardener / Horticulturist

Geoff - Gardener / Horticulturist
Geoff has been with the company several years, and has previously worked with the Stanford grounds
department. He is an avid student of horticulture, having attended the Foothill College Horticulture program. Geoff is a Certified Green Gardener.
Jose - Gardener
Jose comes to the company with several years of gardening experience, particularly with the care and maintenance of native plants.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Spring 2012 - We're currently hiring for a Gardener (non-lead position). The position is part-time (3 days per week) to start. If you enjoy working outdoors with plants, and the challenge of a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from. Professional gardening experience required.
